Do you reside in Richmond and know an artist, cultural chief or arts supporter deserving of recognition for his or her arts contributions? Submit your nominations for this yr’s Richmond Arts Awards.
The annual awards program is placed on by the Metropolis of Richmond and Richmond Arts Coalition to acknowledge modern artists, cultural leaders and supporters, together with volunteers and sponsors, for his or her contributions to Richmond’s arts scene.
Nominations for this yr’s awards will be made within the following classes:
Arts Training
Inventive Innovation
Enterprise and the Arts
Cultural Management
Volunteerism
Youth Arts
All inventive disciplines are eligible, together with visible, performing, literary and culinary arts, in addition to craft, environmental arts and new media.
Anybody can submit a nomination utility on-line. Nominations are being accepted till 5 p.m. on Monday, March 7.
The winner of the Youth Arts class might be awarded a $200 money prize from the Richmond Arts Coalition. Performing, literary and visible artists aged 24 or youthful are eligible for this class.
