No takers on quiz present query on Prince Edward Island

“What’s Prince Edward Island?”

Apparently, the brainiac opponents on Wednesday’s airing of “Jeopardy!” and its all-time winningest champion host do not know.

The American TV quiz present’s present long-running champ Amy Schneider selected a class throughout the Double Jeopardy spherical entitled Native Nicknames.

With $2,000 up for grabs, the reply was “A Spud Islander is a resident of this Canadian province, identified for its potatoes.”

Then crickets, as neither Schneider, nor her two challengers might provide you with the query, which was “Prince Edward Island.”

Even host Ken Jennings appeared to confess not figuring out the query as he relayed the right response.

Island potato farmers are already feeling the sting of a short lived Canadian ban on exporting P.E.I. spuds to the U.S. because of the discovery of two instances of potato wart.

For the document, Schneider gained the day’s match to stretch her successful streak to 36 reveals, and added one other $17,800 to her complete of $1,181,800.
