I do know usually throughout Thanksgiving the turkey or the stuffing tends to be the heroes of the vacation unfold. However for me, it’s all the time all the time in regards to the candied yams. No query.

It’s the rounds of candy potato slices baked to tender perfection, coated within the syrupy goodness of heat spices.

One of the best half? There may be completely no parboiling right here like conventional candied yam recipes. Nope, they’re baked for an hour as an alternative, basted in that heavenly syrup over the last 20 minutes.

When able to serve, sprinkle with chopped pecans (and rosemary if you would like that pop of colour). You’ll by no means need to return to canned candied yams ever once more.
